BUSINESS BUILDING BACKGROUND
Russell has spent the better part of 20 years in the industrial sector.
Prior to founding Trusta, he established an industrial group that acquired seven manufacturing businesses and supported their successful development post-acquisition.
He has broad experience across a range of industrial end markets and has helped run and grow several businesses including:

Door & Joinery Solutions – a timber fire-door manufacturer with two sites in the Midlands.

Supply Plus – a leading manufacturer of ladders and hose reels for fire engines in the UK and overseas, based in Cambridgeshire.

Fireco – a leading manufacturer of fire-door-related products based near Brighton.

DP Seals – a manufacturer of rubber seals and gaskets based in Poole.

E-Tech Components – a distributor of electrical components used primarily in the power distribution sector, based in Cheshire.

Principal Doorsets – a manufacturer of timber fire doors based in Barnstaple.

CP Cases – a manufacturer of protective cases for transit and storage, with a focus on defence and medical applications, based in London.

BSL Gas Technologies – a market-leading manufacturer of gas-mixing equipment based in Kent.
While these companies operate across diverse industrial end markets, they are united by a common principle: delivering mission-critical components with uncompromising quality and exceptional customer service. This commitment to quality fosters customer relationships that endure for decades.
Russell is also a family man and the proud father of three young children. He plays an active role in the charity sector, serving as a trustee of a local organisation that supports elderly members of his community.
PROTECTING A LEGACY
About Trusta Industries
The founder's great grandfather was in the Royal Marines in World War One and survived the Somme and Gallipoli. On returning from the war he became the managing director of a hotel in Bournemouth.
His grandparents were both in the Royal Navy in World War Two. On their return, they setup their own dental practice together which they ran for 35 years.
His dad was the managing director of an industrial manufacturing business but was sadly struck by cancer and passed away at age 41. His mum then setup her own legal practice to provide for two boys as a now single mum.
Russell setup Trusta Industries to continue the legacy of running small and medium sized companies within his family and to continue the journey that his dad started but was not able to complete.
